American Driver is recruiting in Athens, AL for Class A drivers who are new to the industry and ready to start building a career in OTR trucking.
This is a full-time W2 position. Training is paid, the freight is consistent, and the equipment is late-model.
Training:
4–6 weeks with a dedicated mentor, fully paid
Hands-on from day one — live loads, real deadlines
HOS, ELD, pre/post trip inspections all covered
Weekly pay from the start
Solo driving begins at $0.56 CPM after completion
Freight and Miles:
No-touch dry van
60% drop and hook
2,200–2,500 miles per week
Eastern routes, consistent year-round freight
Pay Structure:
$0.56–$0.65 CPM depending on experience
Weekly take-home typically $1,200–$1,500
Additional pay for stops, layovers, and breakdowns
Pay increase every six months
$300 orientation pay
Direct deposit every Friday
Home Time:
Every two weeks, scheduled in advance

Freightliner or Kenworth (2022–2025)
APUs on all assigned trucks

What You Need:
Class A CDL, age 21+
Must have completed a minimum of 120 hours of instruction from an accredited CDL school
No major violations in the last 3 years
