Job Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group music therapy services to clients with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Assess client needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and document progress effectively.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and families to maximize client outcomes.
Maintain compliance with Medicaid Waiver guidelines and professional standards.
Utilize technology (Word, Excel, and related software) for documentation and communication.
Manage caseload independently while meeting deadlines and organizational goals.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Completed degree program from an accredited school approved by the American Music Therapy Association.
Certified by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (MT-BC).
Experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities is preferred but not required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and related software.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
