Job Summary:
Our office in Oakland, CA is looking for a Structural Staff Engineer to design
commercial buildings such as schools, retail, offices, medical, religious,
industrial, petrochemical control buildings, multi-family projects, luxury
resorts, and more.
In this role, you will:
Specific duties of the role include but are not limited to:
* Responsible for the production of engineering documents such as reports,
calculations, 3D models and drawings that are complete and technically
accurate
* Responsible for handling interactions with clients regarding technical design
issues, coordination of document preparation, and submittal schedules
* Utilize design software such as RISA, Enercalc, RAM, Bluebeam, and REVIT to
produce construction drawings
You will be a great fit if you have the following:
* Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil with Structural Engineering Emphasis
from ABET accredited school (required)
* 0 to 3 years of experience in consulting environment with commercial building
focus
* Experience in commercial building foundation, framing systems and lateral
system design is a plus
* Strong time management skills and self-starter a must
Location: Oakland, CA
Compensation & Benefits:
The expected base hourly range for this role is $40 - $44 per hour. Actual
compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills,
experience, qualifications, and location.
