Maintenance Technician
Position Summary
An Entry Level Maintenance Technician is responsible for working with the Maintenance Technician on keeping the facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility. Some other tasks a Maintenance Technician may be called upon to do include but not limited to:
Job Functions
Perform general routine maintenance on and in building external and internal structure.
Under manager’s direction, perform all preventive maintenance and repairs on company equipment including but not limited to, company vehicles, plumbing, freezer, painting, HVAC, roofing, etc.
Maintain internal building aesthetics as needed such as painting, electrical repairs, upgrades, etc.
Report and repair any possible safety issues.
Maintain an organized and safe work area.
Keep maintenance tools and equipment in safe, clean, and good working condition.
Work in cold/hot conditions
Pressure washing and/or Power washing as needed or as instructed by manager.
Following verbal and/or written direction from manager
Communicate with internal departments of repair status.
Update computer system software to track work orders.
Provide assistance to co-workers when needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Adhere to company policies, safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
Requirements
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent degree
Stand 8 to 10 hours a day.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in various height elevations
