Salary: $37,440 - $54,000/annually

The Ideal Candidate
Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma is seeking an Entry-Level Technician to join our dynamic service department. This role is an excellent opportunity to start a rewarding career in automotive repair and grow into a Journey or Master-Level Technician. The ideal candidate will:

Perform maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations with precision and care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receive and perform repair orders from Service Advisor or Shop Foreman.
Conduct thorough checks of customer vehicles, referring additional repair needs to the Service Advisor (e.g., battery life, lights, tires).
Operate and maintain lubrication equipment in a careful and professional manner.
Inspect and adjust vehicle fluid levels.
Check and adjust tire air pressure.
Drain and refill engine oil and replace oil filters and air filters.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Service Manager.

Time Off & Holidays
Paid Time Off (PTO):

3–10 years: 1.53 hours per 40 hours worked
10+ years: 2.30 hours per 40 hours worked
Paid Holidays: Hourly employees receive six paid holidays per year.

Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
ASE certifications are ideal.
Strong automotive background
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Basic computer skills.
Basic mathematical aptitude
Ability to understand and apply common sense.
Clean driving record
Willing to submit to a drug screen.
