Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma is hiring an Entry-Level Technician—but this is not a typical lube tech position.
You’ll start with maintenance work, but you’ll also work directly with experienced flat-rate technicians, learning real diagnostics and repair skills from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing
Perform maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, inspections)
Assist technicians with diagnostics and repairs
Learn how to troubleshoot and fix real vehicle issues
Support the shop with repairs, inspections, and workflow
Build skills that move you into a full technician role
What We’re Looking For
Strong interest in becoming an automotive technician
Some basic mechanical knowledge or schooling preferred
Willingness to learn, take direction, and work hard
Positive attitude and team mindset
Dependable and ready to grow

Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Strong automotive background
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Basic computer skills.
Basic mathematical aptitude
Ability to understand and apply common sense.
Clean driving record
Willing to submit to a drug screen.
