About the Role:
Certified Restoration Inc is looking for a motivated Entry Level Water Damage Helper to join our growing team in San Diego, CA! This is a fantastic opportunity to break into the restoration industry, learn hands-on skills, and build a rewarding career helping people recover from property damage. No experience? No problem — we'll train you!
What you'll do
Assist technicians on residential and commercial water damage jobs
Extract standing water and remove wet drywall, flooring, and insulation
Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers
Move and protect furniture and belongings
Keep job sites, vehicles, and equipment clean and organized
Treat customers with care and respect during stressful situations
What we're looking for
A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet all day
Comfort working in tight spaces like crawlspaces and attics, and in wet or dirty conditions
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the shop
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen after a conditional offer of employment
Availability for occasional evening, weekend, or on-call emergency work
