Job Overview
The Production Technician I is an entry‑level position and a critical contributor to our manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll learn to operate precision equipment in a cleanroom environment while helping produce high‑quality, custom contact lenses. You’ll be trained hands‑on, supported by experienced teammates, and given clear opportunities to build technical skills and grow your career.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties (other duties may be assigned)
* Learn and perform foundational production tasks at one or more entry‑level manufacturing stations
* Follow all work instructions, SOPs, safety guidelines, and cleanroom protocols
* Maintain accurate production and material usage records
* Rotate through manufacturing functions as part of a high‑performance team
* Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas daily
* Report equipment issues or quality concerns promptly
* Participate in required training and demonstrate progress toward Technician II proficiency
* Collaborate with teammates to meet daily production goals
* Apply the company's core fundamentals in daily work and interactions
Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED
* Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn technical processes
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
* Comfort standing for extended periods and working with small components
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic proficiency with Microsoft 365 or similar software
Growth Opportunity
Entry Technician employees are expected to maintain consistent attendance, deliver high-quality performance, and achieve proficiency in either Base Curve or Front Curve processes within 90 days. Employees who meet these benchmarks become eligible for advancement to Technician II.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
