What you’ll do:
The Fabricator I role is responsible for assembling case parts and products in the Fabrication Department using machinery and hand tools.
Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment
Perform job duties in a manner that follows Eaton’s Quality standards and systems
Assemble products using various types of equipment
Use hand tools, small power tools, or other special equipment to assemble products
Interpret orders and drawings to determine procedures and conduct work according to drawing specifications
Conduct inspection of parts and quality checks using a variety of measuring tools
Perform rework operations as required
Replenish inventory of fabrication department
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas using Eaton’s 5S procedures
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Must have one year experience in a manufacturing setting
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Williamsburg, VA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with machine operator experience (grinders, resistance welding, and other metal working equipment)
Position Criteria:
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to read and understand wiring schematics, blueprints, and drawings
• Able to move material as needed using material handling carts (push/pull 50lbs)
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
• Team player and able to collaborate with others to effectively complete work assignments per customer orders
• Willingness to participate in training opportunities
• Practice good housekeeping to keep assigned work-area clean, organized, and orderly.
• Perform other duties as required including flexing to other departments
