We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of event planning and coordination. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced events team to help organize and execute a variety of events, including corporate functions, weddings, and community festivals.

Monday to Friday
Weekends free
Pay Range:
$25.50 - $34.00 hourly
THIS WILL BE AN ON-SITE JOB
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and execution of various events such as corporate meetings, weddings, and social gatherings.
Coordinate with vendors, venues, and clients to ensure all event details are met and exceeded.
Help with logistical arrangements including transportation, catering, and equipment rental.
Support the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring that everything runs smoothly on the day of the event.
Maintain and organize event files, schedules, and budgets to ensure all information is readily available.
Assist in the development of event marketing materials, including invitations, social media posts, and signage.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
Demonstrated interest in event planning through internships, volunteer work, or relevant coursework is advantageous.
